Overview of the School of International Studies (SIS, DUFE)
The School of International Studies (SIS) was founded in 2009 through a partnership between the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) under the Ministry of Education and DUFE. It is dedicated to equipping students for degree studies at top universities worldwide by fostering the necessary foundational academic and linguistic skills.
As a pioneer in transnational education, SIS offers undergraduate and postgraduate foundation programs that lead to degree studies at renowned universities worldwide, including those in the USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, and key European countries. Our program structures are flexible, featuring models such as 1+3/2+2 years for bachelor’s degree seekers and 0.5/1+1/1.5 years for master’s degree candidates.
In these programs, students lay a solid foundation through courses in Academic English, as well as guidance on study skills, and core business subjects such as economics, management, finance, and statistics The curriculum is tailored to meet the academic requirements of our overseas partner institutions.
To further strengthen its commitment to international education, SIS hosts an official IELTS on Computer Test Venue, accredited by the National Education Examination Authority (NEEA) and the British Council. This facility offers great convenience for DUFE students and the wider community to take the IELTS test.
